Senior Gianna Pietrini was chosen as English Student of the Month for October.
English teacher Christina O’Donnell admires Pietrini for her bright attitude and consistently putting others before herself.
“She makes her peers feel safe, valued and respected. She makes us laugh, smile and think,” O’Donnell said. “She connects people and holds us together. She loves this school so much that she sees it as a home.”
Pietrini is currently an intern for O’Donnell’s E208 class. From getting to know each student individually and watching them grow, she has loved every minute of it.
She explains that her favorite part of English is how readers can have their own takes on the same passage.
“I really like how it’s all up to your own interpretation,” Pietrini said.
