Senior Estelle Wong was selected as English Student of the Month for October.
English teacher Angenette Fudala thinks Wong’s strength is her active participation in all things English.
“I don’t usually nominate kids all the time, because I think it should be just an outstanding English student; somebody who contributes to not just their one class that year, but throughout their time in Fremd. Estelle has been amazing with developing the curriculum and is supportive of all English endeavors,” Fudala said.
Wong joined the Writer’s Workshop in freshman year and has been an active member throughout her career at Fremd. She is a creative writer who loves drawing inspiration from herself and grappling with social issues throughout her pieces. She particularly enjoys researching the Medieval Era, immersing herself in the history and drama.
